How it works
- The Club Championship is a 7-round Swiss tournament over the season, from September to May, open to all fully paid-up club members. All participants must be members of the ICU, as the championship is ICU rated.
- Time limit: 75 minutes plus a 15-second increment for all moves.
- Four weeks are allocated to play each round; players arrange their games with their opponents on club nights.
- If players tie for the title, the tie-break is the median Buchholz score, then the result of the game between the tied players.
